The castle is a jewel of Renaissance architecture of Transylvania, being located at the foothills of Călimani, on the right bank of the river Mureș, in the village known as Brâncoveneşti. On the 30th of September 2014 the castle was returned to its last owner, the Kemény family! This place also functioned as a prison, workhouse and home for patients with physical and mental problems! Here you can view a Transylvanian Helikon and an exhibition of "Szépműves Céh". One can also admire the sketches by the painter Pál Nagy, the popular religious wall mats collection of Dr. Sándor Madaras and also an exhibit dedicated to Karola Szilvássy. The family's dream is to put the castle in the service of culture and revive the Helikon in Transylvania! This can be visited in exchange for a donation, the visit being guided by a tour guide for 45 minutes.
